A Touch of Silk
Quattro by Sansiri recently held "A Touch of Silk", an event to mark its collaboration with Jim Thompson Thai Silk in designing an oriental contemporary style for its show suites that answers the needs of buyers at the pinnacle of Thonglor's property market. Both companies are at the top of their respective industries and the modern luxury of Quattro perfectly compliments the chic appeal of Jim Thompson's sumptuous designs. This was the perfect opportunity for both organizations to join hands in one of Bangkok's most sought after neighborhoods. The event also came about as a result of cooperation with Bank of Ayudhya and a number of their most senior executives were present.
Jim Thompson, the Thai Silk company's founder after whom the firm was named, was well known throughout his life for throwing great parties, as well as the illustrious guest list of those who attended the soirees at his house. With "A Touch of Silk", Quattro by Sansiri recreated a part of this atmosphere by inviting a number of Bank of Ayudhya's preferred clients to Quattro's Sales Gallery and Show Suite for an evening of entertainment, great food and drink, as well as scintillating company.
For the evening, Quattro by Sansiri displayed art by Xawery Wolski, a Polish sculptor who resides in Mexico City, from the Jim Thompson Foundation exhibition "Into an Empty Sky." The highlight of the night though was provided by the sparkling sounds of singer Nat Myria and was topped off by a lucky draw contest, as well as the turntable skills of Bed Supperclub's DJ Ben. "A Touch of Silk" gave guests a taste of the high-end lifestyle that can be attained as a resident of Quattro by Sansiri and it is envisioned that the project will be the venue for many such equally remarkable gatherings in the future.
